First ,let me thank the management for organising this event.It started with a morning drizzle and later it faded away and we had almost perfect weather for cycling around the scenic beauty by likeside.Our safety and F&B were very well taken care of and I could not ask for more.Well done!!!

I look forward for the next ride and most of my riding buddies would be grateful if Perbadanan Putrajaya could organise such an event every month.

After completing our loop today~6km,we went to the wakaf near the mini waterfall but the car park was full.So,we went to the One Payment Centre where we saw a few benches like the one shown where we as a family can sit down have a quiet breakfast under the the many tall and leafy trees.

As we sat down for our breakfast,we saw continuous stream of people on bikes,cars and buses coming to FRIM.I hope to see the management keeps everything tip top!

Inter Pak Ride

An educational 18km bike ride..

My youngest son,a 21-year old boy has just completed his Diploma in Civil Engineering.Now he has more time  to ride with me and today we did 18.18km MTB ride.We started off at  Kelab Tasik,Putrajaya,then rode along the boardwalk at Precinct 10,passing through my 'secret garden' to P8 and Istana Darul Ehsan and rode to P16 via P2.Just after about half kilometre from Taman Warisan Pertanian we took the lakeside cycling path all the way to PM Dept and back to Kelab Tasik.The ride took about 1 hr 45 min with a few stops at bridges,weir and birds santuary.

As we passed under a bridge, I showed my son the substructures that support the bridge deck.Along the lake ride, we also stopped at a weir, a water structure to control the water level and I explained its function.As we cycled towards PM Dept,I saw two islands full of birds.We sat there watching the birds flying in and out-just like a busy airport!I know what Airbus and Boeing 747 look like but when it comes to bird's type,I failed to answer my son's enquiries.Luckily, he did not ask me about the 'birds and the bees'.Otherwise,I will ask him to google the Internet;-)

There is going to be a Charity Walk here this Saturday but I cannot go due to my earlier family commitment.InsyaAllah,my wife and me will go to Lake Garden for a walk in the near future.
