Lately ,I am a bit obsessed with bicycle when I managed to participate in Putrajaya Critical Mass cycling event on 22nd August,2008.To make matters worse,I write a few postings about it and met my younger schoolmate who rides his Ducati bicycle that cost him RM7,000!He told me this while I was having ice kacang at his restaurant.My jaws dropped and I was speechless and dumbfounded!When I become sober again from a lapse of insanity,I called him to my side and wispered to him."Do your wife know about this expensive bicycle?".He replied,"Yes!"."What was her response?".My friend replied,"She could not say anything because a week before I bought my bicycle,I bought her an expensive 10k necklace."My comments: Itu satu tindakan yang bijak! To make thing getting from bad to worse,a few days ago my friend Dr Azmi bought a brand new Proton carbon fibre Proton Bike.The original price was RM2700 and now it is selling around RM850.It is really a cool bike.I invited my wife to join me cycling but she refused so I don't have an excuse to buy it.When I asked my sons, they don't want mountain bikes and asked me not to waste money.I must think of a way so that I could get this bicycle and without my family knowing about it.Since one of my sons always read my blog,I will not reveal my plan here;-)

Welcome to my Cycling Blog
Hi,
Thank you for coming to my blog about one of my hobbies.Previously,I wrote about cycling at the other blog but I feel I need one special blog dedicated to cycling.
I started with a Haro mountain bike some more than seven years ago.It is just for my late afternoon and weekends exercise.About three years ago I suffered artritis and I havd to stop cycling.When I suffered no more pain in my knees,I started to cycle again.The Haro bike is getting old and to motivate me going cycling,I gave myself a present - brand new bike ;16" Trek 3700.So here I am to re-start where I have left.
The real booster to my renewed interest in cycling came from my participation in Putrajaya Critical Mass night ride with about 100 fellow cyclists.It was 21.5km and I told myself it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to complete the circuit.BUT with the helps from my fellow bikers Sharin,Saifuddin and Nadim Shah,I DID it!!!
This blog is mainly about my personal cycling and at most it will get updated once a week.

More than 10 years ago,my son Maher got interested in doing some extreme acts with his BMX bike.During a family trip to London, I bought the frame of this bike at White Chapel,near London. The handle was bought by my cousin in Texas,USA.I think I spent more than RM1500 to get my son to enjoy his new hobby.Lucky boy!
