Last month my friend Sofian invited me to join him in writing on photography.After an exhange of emails to know what was it all about, I accepted the invitation and here I am to do what I am not even ready to even think about it..
As the days approached to my deadline on 2/10/2013,I went looking up into my blogs and searched for what I blogged on photography and last night I also opened my cupboard drawer where I kept my old dead gadgets and cameras.To my disappointment,I did only write about 20 postings in the last ten years beginning 2003;and most of them were about events of taking photos.The earliest record went back as far as 2003 when I joined Textamerica.com to archive my mobile shots from my Nokia 6600 phone as shown above.Thanks God I still have some of those shots archived in various postings in my blogs.Below is a shot using Nokia 6600 ,also known locally as Sabun.I don't like to call it Sabun,so I called it Fatboy-something similar to my own shape.
The above photo was discovered by a Canadian Travel company and they requested my permission to use it at their website to promote KLCC as one of their tourists destination.I granted their request to promote my country.It was my little contribution in my own way.This event took me by suprise but it inspired and motivated me to keep shooting using my mobile phone and compact camera for the next few years .
How did I get actively involved in photography?That will be another story.
