Book:A Prisoner of Birth
I bought this novel about 10 days ago.Phew,I managed to complete reading it yesterday.As a slow reader,this showed that I could not put the book down.If you are a fan of Sir jeffrey Archer like me, you must go and buy this book today.If not, get it whenever you have the time to read a good novel.
The story took place mainly in London and I know the places mentioned quite well.But what keep me reading to the end is the story of common people vis-a-vis the elite class and the language used,especially towards the end of the book.
My rating: 4/5*

Quran: Text and sound
These technologies are nothing new.What made took the photo was the sharpness of Arabic text in the iPod Touch and the contrast of 'colours' black and white.
If I cannot read the Quran during this Ramadhan,at least I am listening to the beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran.
It would be more interesting if I could read the translation of the Quran in the form of moving text as the Qari reads the Quran.

Birthday books
A few days ago,I got a postcard from a bookshop whom I am a member.The bookshop offers 20% discout plus RM3 for my coming birthday.
So today, before I run out of my money and the books gone away,I went to get these books that I wish to read.
According the salesgirl who handled my purchase, she told me that top book is very good.It has 616 pages and she read it in three days!I am sure it will take me at least 3 weeks.The two books are the bottom are heavy reading for me.Both will take months to read and digest...

Feast of Dates
When I returned home this afternoon,my wife told me someone has sent us a box of J.Co donuts for iftar(break of fast).About half an hour later, I received a text message on my mobile phone from the sender.I replied with thanks.The donuts were nicely decorated and I told everyone don't eat them until I take a few photos.Now, all are gone where they belonged.These tasty cakes were our desserts for tonight.
