When we are in our 50's and our the kids have grown up and some are living away from us;weekdays can be very quiet...My wife is obviously affected by the situation and started calling our kids.Now the only person she can talk to in our house is me only.Now, I will make it a point not linger more than necessary to come home after work.
Our parents had undergone such a situation many, many years ago when we left them after we got married and started to have our own families. Now, it looks like my time has begun and soon the cycle will be repeated.I told my wife we must get used to it.We can't keep all our children in our house all the time..
Nowadays, we look forward to weekends where most of our kids will be with us except those who work/study outside KL.Lately, we go to JB every other month because our eldest son is working there.
