Now, it is almost two months since I bought this device and I began to enjoy its functions.I am still a newbie as far as GPS is concerned but I am willing to learn as I go along the way ...

One limitation I soon discovered is the lack of details of the map available for my country.Hopefully, it will improve with time.

So far, it is a worthwhile investment for me and give me more confidence to navigate in unfamiliar  areas or locations.

I am glad to see  children  got their hands 'dirty' with crayon and colour pencils and watercolors squatting on the floor of a shopping complex near my house last weekend.They were deeply engaged in our 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Independence  (Merdeka)  of Malaysia.

I promised my son to accompany him to buy this latest Harry Potter book this weekend i.e 21st July,2007. The photo shown an order form I got from Popular Bookstore.

By the way, I am no fan of Harry Potter's books ,but I managed to read the first one. However, I enjoyed the movies except the last one.

Ziarah

Today I accompanied my mother to ziarah the grave of her younger brother Dato Haji Mohd Shahir Abdullah in Segambut.

May Allah accept his ibadah and forgive his sins and admit him to His Al-Jannah.

Cendul

The old fashion way..

This was how the 'cendul' was made in the old fashion way....some 40 years ago and it is the same today in Brickfield,Kuala Lumpur. It cost RM 0.05 then but now the price is RM1.00.

It was a very interesting experience for me to walk around with my friends from KL Flickrs community on a Sunday morning with our cameras.This is my first time walking around the area;previously I was just passing through for almost a quarter of a century.By the way, I discovered  a few new places and interesting cultures..
