Simplicity is beauty..

In many photos and sketches,I observed that simplicity gave added beauty..This is one small effort I took to demostrate the message...{at the same time,it is easier to sketch simple objects}.If you don't get my message,it is my failure to communicate..

The Purple Walk..

This morning we went to Putrajaya for a morning walk around the lake behind Masjid Mizan.After a two km walk,we stop at Palace of Justice to see The Purple Walk.There were thousands of ladies and men taking part and the food was a plenty for everyone.

I hope to see more ladies walking every weekend from now..

Sketching from memory..

This morning I did my stretching here as shown in the above sketch-Taman Tasik Cempaka.I told myself to capture this scene and when I got back to my house I immediately sketched it.I think I got about 80% of what I planned to remember.Since I bought my iPad in March 2012,I have been using it to do some sketchings to improve my memories of the places I visited with some interesting details.

I am doing these sketching stuff because lately when I logged in 60 years old,I sometimes forget certain things very fast.This is my small effort to prevent  my memory from deteriorating too fast.InsyaAllah.

UKM to Segambut by Komuter

Yesterday was my first train ride from Bangi to KL.My son took me to UKM Station and I paid RM4 for a single trip to Segambut. Lately,I am trying to walk my talk of driving less by using more public transport ;and if possible I should try to cycle to commute short distances.

Sadly,I have a very bad impression about the level of service of  facilities management at the station-not to mention the UKM station looks plain and boring.I did not see  even a flower pot at the platforms.After buying my ticket, I tried to slip in the ticket at the turnstile but all the two turnstiles were not working.On my return journey, when I wanted to use the lift, it was out of order!

The only thing that impressed me was the brand new coaches as shown on the top right.There were clean and on time.May be because they are still new..

When I arrived at Segambut Komuter Station,it reminds me of the railway station at Palekbang,Tumpat Kelantan way back in 1960's.Only one temporary toilet was provided and it smelled urine all over!No one checked  my ticket at exit and again the turnstiles here were no better than at UKM Station.

Some travellers may just travel free...

 

 

Sketch of white flower..

Flower is one of my favourite objects to sketch and the most difficult.To get 100% real is almost impossible for folks like me...However,I would be happy if the sketch managed to convey the message.By the way,this was sketched from a photo using Paper53.
