Yes,they are! This is my first time seeing red tulip grown in winter.Thank you my friend Guus from Holland who sent me the photo as shown on the right.According to him, these tulips were grown in a green house.Do you know where tulips came from originally?
To my suprise, tulips came from Turkey. In the same say, rubber trees came from South America and we Malaysian are growing them in great abundance and making a lot of moey.
How about the oil in Middle East? The lis goes on and on.
I have been to Holland four times since 1987 and my recent one was in April,2012.From my trips,I have learnt that the people of Holland are very ingenious in engineering and green technology and they were the one who built up the British merchant navy and ships.
When it comes to flowers, waterways and cycling,I gave Holland five stars!!!!!
Thanks to Guus for sharing the photo of the winter tulips with me.
This photo below was taken on April 29, 2012 using aPanasonic DMC-LX5 during my recent trip to Holland. Many thanks to Guus and Marjolein for your kind hospitality.
