Do you love to listen to a story?Most people do.Lately, some management gurus are promoting the usage of story telling in corporate and business environments.About six years ago ,I wrote this note.Please read it to give you the background and the power of the stories either in selling your products,services or ideas.There are a lot of stories in the Holy Qur'an so that we muslims can take some lessons from the past.
Two years ago I took up cycling and blogged about it here.To my pleasant suprises,a few people who have hung their bicycles are �going back to cycling after they read my stories.I did not talk about the mechanics of cycling but more about the joys and fun I had with my friends and some benefits I gained from cycling.Similarly ,it went the same way with my 'walking stories'.They are nothing great, but these short notes touched some peoples' hearts out there.
Personally,I love to read story books and watch movies.These are all stories in different media.

Nowadays,I seldom see people telling stories like the old ways.In many cases,most people read stories from others via their mobile phones.tablets or PC's.It seems to me that nobody has the time to sit down and tell their stories and no one is also around to listen.I just the feeling that if we parents want to say something to our kids,we better send them SMS or emails.ICT has changed the way we communicate over the last few years and sadly mobile gadgets have over run our lives.Just sum up your time spent online and compared that with talking to your loved ones!I must confessed that I am a victim and let us get back our lives..Thanks to my mother and wife for your kind reminders.
