The last time I walked here was with my friend Madolah in 2003.As we walked we joked that two of us should applied for the gardener's job here. Then both of us shall have all the Hyde Park for us to play like kids again...By the way, both of us were in our ealy 50's then and now we are going to join the Warga Emas(Golden Age)[60+]
During my week long vacation in London,I stayed at Mara House-for cheaper accomodation as well as easy access to halal and Malay food at Restaurant Bonda(basement 190 Spring St) and Tuk Din Restaurant,41 Craven St near by.When I arrived by Easyjet from Amsterdam, the weather in London was chilly but sunny.I planned to have tea with my friend but I could not get him.So I took a rest, had a good dinner at Restaurant Bonda and slept early after half a day travelling from Naderlands to Old Blighty.
Next day,I decided to go jogging at Hyde Park.I walked through Sussex Garden and entered the park through Kensington Garden.I noticed a few joggers but it was too cold for me to run..So I just walked to Serpentine Lake, took a few shots at some nice looking ducks and gardens along the road.As the sun rose higher, more and more people were seen jogging, walking and cycling.I wanted to ride Boris bikes but somehow I could not get my creditcard to pay for the rental. So I walked and took some photos and ended at Pret A Manger for a juicy and fruity breakfast...
Nostalgic walk in Hyde Park.
