The title is not a typo.It was done on purpose.Kaki, a Malay word, means legs.By the way,I also like khaki dockers.I used to have a few of them but they are size 34,which I can't fit in any more.
When I joined the corporate world in mid 90's,my denim jeans were a bit too geek to wear to office,so I changed into something more acceptable then-Dockers.After reading about new Dockers designs in the pipeline in the newspapers yesterday,my interest in Dockers as my business pants came back. Now, I am wearing all tailored made trousers to fit what I had acquired in the last decade of my overeating and least exercise in the corporate world. After almost one year doing regular exercises but still practising bad eating habit,I managed to wrangle myself into my size 36 Dockers, albeit still slightly tight but wearable! If I ever could wear back my old size 34 Dockers, one of my sons will give me a BIG reward-may be a new bike.As far as I feel right now, it must be a few more years down the road!
During one of my business meeting,I met an old friend on the opposite side of the table. He asked what brand of trousers I was wearing. When I told him I am wearing a Dockers,he gestured his hand to shake mine. Some people just love their Dockers.Likewise, when my friend just bought a mountain bike Trek 8000,I shaked his hand and wished him,Welcome to Trek World of Cycling.
I also wear Dockers most of the time before. And this happened after I was introduced by Palmx kaki with Mobile Pants (MP). I bought one MP every year for Raya celebration since 2002 and stop buying them last two years. Most of them no longer fit me except the last three that I bought for the same reason as yours. After doing somewhat regular exercise, I may be able to wear them back (the last three unfortunately) and look forward to maintain that.
