Yesterday,I received this lovely photo from a friend who lives in Holland. What a beautiful sight to behold in one's own garden. When I was a student at Sheffield University,England in early 70's,I never got an opportunity to see and waddle through this thick snow.My first experience was in Switzerland in 1987 when my boss sponsored me a trip to Europe for my 10th wedding anniversary. Now, I am getting romantic;-)
As soon as our tour bus stopped for us to see and experience this type of snow, the whole busload of us rushed out and played with the snow like kids.Someone commented:"We forgot to bring a few jars of sweet syrups, otherwise we could have 'ice kachang' by the lorry loads!".It is just like the Arab tourists who roam our Lake Garden where waters and tall trees every where.
C'est la vie..
