Healthy lifestyle..

     Last night I have double happiness when my youngest son,a 21-year old boy(using my old Trek 3700) and my nephew(who just bought Polygon Xtrada 3.0) in his early 30's have decided to join me cycling tomorrow night at Putrajaya Crital Mass (29/01/2010).This monthly event is organised by volunteers on the last Friday night of each month.RV is in front of the Palace of Justice,Putrajaya at 9pm and wheels roll at 9:30pm.The participants come in all colours,sizes and age-sometimes 100 of them!.Previously,I only cycle with my friends and now my family members are cycling with me.Thanks guys!

I bought my MTB Trek3700 in January,2008.When I ride I usually blog about it(at times, I blog more than I ride) and this has inspired a few people to start considering buying bicycles and also made a few  people looking back at their old bikes to ride again.From my experience,we need to join a group and the rides must be fun and challenging to keep us cycling.I am grateful to my riding buddies at Putrajaya Easy Riders who had given me guides,fun and friendship. Now,it is my turn to take newbies on my rides at Putrajaya and FRIM even though I am still learning how to ride well.

 One aspect of healthy lifestyle is doing a regular physical exercise.My bike and my friends make me ride three times a week and on weekend we go out to venture off-roads(ex FRIM,Broga).Last year,I logged about 1800km of MTB cycling! And this year,I plan to add more flavours to my exercise regime by doing more quality MTB rides plus once a week  brisk walkings with my wife and friends.InsyaAllah.

To my fellow readers who have NOT done any exercises lately,please give a thought about it.You don't have to ride a bike, but my experience told me,cycling at Putrajaya is more fun than walking at KLCC Garden;-) or sitting down watching telly.
