As I was walking near Al-Marjan Restaurant on the 4th floor of KLCC Suria shopping complex,I saw the shadows of the roof on the wall.It just looked beautiful to me ,not only the shadows but the effects of natural lighting in a closed air-conditioned built environment. Nowadays,I see too much un-natural things in a building that made me feel living in a fake world.
This opening to natural light may make the building less energy efficient, but it makes me feel I am living more in natural but controlled environment.Anyway, this is just my personal feelings.The experts in build environments may have their views.
