The Sunnah..

Two weeks ago, our guru gave us two ayats as our homework.Below is one of them for us to study.

From Surah al-Ahzaab:

[21] Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the praise of Allah.
[21] Demi sesungguhnya, adalah bagi kamu pada diri Rasulullah itu contoh ikutan yang baik, iaitu bagi orang yang sentiasa mengharapkan (keredaan) Allah dan (balasan baik) hari akhirat, serta dia pula menyebut dan mengingati Allah banyak-banyak (dalam masa susah dan senang).

Most of us muslims/muslimahs have heard or read the stories of the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.The question I am asking myself,how many of his good deeds/examples have I incorporated into my daily life??? When I started to think in order to list down, then I know immediately that I have done very little of his sunnah.I have my TODO list for my projects (and business and my family) but what seems to be missing is the list of the sunnah I should do on yearly,monthly,weekly and daily basis.To inculcate good behaviours, we must begin the change with the easier ones first, then we move up the ladder to collect higher fruits.

On his death bed, our dear beloved Prophet Muhammad still mentioning his ummah.The least we could show our love for him is by following his sunnah.Let's not waste any more time and begin today to upgrade our effort in following the Sunnah of Rasullulah.
