A week ago, during our family get together at KLCC, my cousin told me about a shop by the name of Kak Mah,located within a warong next to Pasar Tani, Kampung Pandan (next to traffic light under the elevated highway MRR2).After three visits since I discovered this shop,I hereby confirmed that if you like to eat nasi belauk, nasi dagang and nasi kerabu ala Kelantan, this is the place!
You can locate the place using Google map or your own GPS device.Below is the shop co-ordinates:
N 3 08.844'
E 101 44.681'
I must confess that when it comes to nasi dagang,I prefer the Trengganu version.By the way,be extra careful when you eat 'cik mek molek' (as shown in the photo above) from Kelantan.
sedapnyo... ddeki ambo. nati abe dib maghi, buleh bawok seklosong deh :)

I have to say that the Kelantanese version ( nasi dagang ) has more nutritional value. Errr.. I mean, the semi-polished rice used.

Abedib, Nasi Dagang tu nampak macam sangat original. Padan pun kat atas mereket Kota Bharu sudah ketandusan makcik2 penjual... rupa2nya seorang dah migrate ke Kg Pandan... ;-)
btw I heard the new Kelantan Delight (xKLCC) will be opening soon (Mar'08) at Sooka Sentral.

Adib, I prefer the ganu version of nasi dagang too, having worked there for many years. However, I think I will take my wife to Kak Mah's for nasi kerabu as this is one of her favourite dishes. Thanks for leting me know about this place.

Salam
Hani was there also last two weeks
my first time must say
nasi ok, not too bad
like real our nasi berlakuk back in kelate
but kak mah herself was a bit 'unfriendly'
unlike us oghe kelate
again, my personal view, wallahualam.

Wassalam Hani,
Your personal opinion about her being 'unfriendly' is also shared by someone I knew.

Why must be careful when eating it?

When we eat cik mek molek, the liquified sugar inside may burst open and fall on your shirt!

Thank you for the posting. I will try to locate the Nasi Kerabu under the elevated MRR2 highway.

Kalau sedap sekali pun...peniaga mesti tahu jaga hati pelangan sbb pelangan yg datang membayar utk apa yg dijual.
