Some people asked me how I got the time to write. Well, I write any where I am and whenever I feel like it. All you need is a pen a piece of paper(preferrably a notebook) - which every one can afford.Now, I write everyday-in my notebook and my computer. By the way, I enjoy both worlds - analogue and digital. Both have their own strenghts and weaknesses.
Just carry a pen and notebook with you all the time.Then, take some time to write every day. After a few months, it became my habit. Just tell yourself that it is cool to write;-)
Note: The photo shown was taken by my son Ahmad Maher when we were going home(balik kampung) during the recent Eidul Adha.
Going back to Kelantan by train. Travelling around KL by LRT/Putra/Monorail. I am impressed. You are indeed unpretentious. Dare I use the word "zuhud" here?
From www.muis.sg.gov on "zuhud";
Many Muslims have the wrong impression about Zuhud. Most of us thinks that being Zuhud is to torture oneself which is usually associated with eating and drinking less, having less sleep and rest, each night should only be filled with ibadah, no sense of proper hygiene or grooming, no need to work hard and to perform prayers and zikir continuously day and night.
The definition of Zuhud is to abstain from the greed in worldly affairs that will affect our obligations to Allah s.w.t. This is indeed the true meaning of zuhud.

Drtamil,
Thank you for your comments and kind words.I am miles away from the 'makam' of zuhud.According to Imam Al Razali, zuhud is one of the 'sifat' of 'nafsun mutmainnah'.
Thank you for sharing the meaning of zuhud, which many of us misunderstood.That is why I always propagate deeper understanding of Islam(tafakuh) through continous learning and amal.
