YES..Life is that way..

I could'nt agree more Tuan Haji..
"The chess-board is the world; the pieces are the phenomena of the universe; the rules of the game are what we call the laws of Nature. The player on the other side is hidden from us. We know that his play is always fair, just and patient. But also we know, to our cost, that he never overlooks a mistake, or makes the smallest allowance for ignorance.."
- 'A Liberal Education' - Sir Julian Huxley (1887-1975)

....(paused for a moment)...

Poem by William Henry Davies

Leisure

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Pak Adib, if we equate the world with a chess game, we'll either end up putus harapan or become the dictator. However, if it is about building strategies, then you are the key player of your own destiny. Good to know that you value those precious moments with ur family. I guess it's very much about "rebutlah lima perkara sebelum datang lima perkara".

...and they say, "the harder they work, the luckier they are". ;-)
