This morning I saw my neighbour ,an elderly lady was walking alone. She walked with her face downwards and each step is taken slowly....
I don't know what was in her mind, but I know she is still feeling the loss of her 'special'(handicapped) son. Her son,in his early 30's passed away last month. As far as I could remember, she walked with her son everyday at dawn. The morning walk is their ritual for more than 15 years...
I don't do morning walk everyday, but when I do on weekend,I need a friend. It is very boring to walk alone...but when the time comes ,all of us will be alone.
So,let us find time to walk together.
i've seen what death can do those that were left behind. The unbearable are the moms when they lost their children. It's constantly in our head that the old will go first. i've seen this happen to my mom. she still talks about my brother who was also taken away unexpectedly.
