The teacher who has been giving lecture at our surau for the last 20 years. He is Prof. Dr Haji Hashim Minhat.
...and here are the students who tried harder not to miss his lecture. The only lacking is the presence of younger audience. This morning we listened to a topic of why we need to do our ibadah to Allah swt. One of the twelve reasons is it is our personal obligation as a servant( the created) to his Master( the Creater).

It is not just the food but the company of friendly neighbours and the lively conversation among friends.
This is something that we could not get when we are overseas.
Home sweet home!

I will be home very soon. Nasi lemak, teh tarik, laksa, you name it, all will be a change from the usual cereal, toast, and baked beans! Oh yes, friendly chat, even when I am the only young lad around. My only complaint waktu subuh would be: cold water!! Gosh, isn't there a boiler somewhere...??
