Sometimes you wonder why Allah take away one's life even though that person still have children to be taken care of. Some would question why Allah is being unfair. Most of the time we are looking at the small picture, and with our limited knowledge, it is hard to see the big picture. We can't predict the future, but we can look at the past, and do remember, Prophet Muhammad lost his father before he was born, and lost his mother while still a young infant.

It may seem unfair for us, but perhaps Allah have something in store for the four children who just lost their parents.

Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas roh Allahyarhamah...

I believe things happen for a reason and it's true that at times, it's hard to swallow the bitterness of reality and accept the harshness of fate. It depends on one's interpretation.I always believe that Allah give us various obstacles in life to test our endurance and to make us appreciate life to the fullest. Dealing with death is not easy and indeed, it will take time to heal and recover from the grief and melancholy. Hopefully, they will be given strength to go on and succeed in their lives, Insya Allah.

Abedib,

Today, 20th February is the anniversary of my mother’s death. She passed away (many many years back) leaving 11 children behind, I was barely 4yrs old then. When I saw my mom lying, I wish I could tap my magic wand and make her alive again.

Coincidentally today at 8pm, I got news about the passing of my friend’s husband who died at 6pm. He’s only 39 and left behind three small children and a wife.

We are mere mortals in this world. All that we have is only a loan from Allah. Life is so short.

Al-Fatihah.
