Last Saturday, after meeting my bookcrossing friends and to bid good bye to Katie from UK,my friend Nazley went into our favourite stationery shop Cziplee next to BV11.There,I discovered another meaning of 'koi'- is a portable water colour set.The other photo is snapshot of real koi swiming in a pond at a hotel .By the way,my old water-colour set is gathering dust some where in the kitchen cabinet and I hope this new 'koi' that cost me about RM30 will motivate me to keep drawing using water colours. It is similar to notebook; we write sometimes because we like the notebook;-)
A few days ago,I received an invoice from PMI,USA to remind me to renew my membership from August,2008 for another year.It reminds me of my trip to MIT and Harvard that took place more than 11 years ago.I vaguely remember what I did when I was there for a few days and later took a flight from Boston to New York and visited WTC .How nice it could be if I have written a short travelogue of my trip there..I went to MIT Media Lab to see Prof Nicholas Negroponte but he was not around at that time.
When I started journaling more than two years ago,I can read again what I have written during my travels and when I am attending an important event. Not only writing what I did and what I saw and heard,I also recorded my thoughts and my feelings.I find interesting and though provoking to read my notes again after some time.
This is my first visit to KLPAC.It is a nice place to snap photos. It reminds me of KTM building.Well, this Sentul West. I went there to see one photo of mine was selected for exhibition for 24HOUR KL project.
Photos of me was taken by Nazley aka Bubba. Thanks Nazley
My congratulations to fellow KL Flickrs for their efforts to put up the show.
Last night,I got IM from a mutual friend(Zaimi)) that my musician friend Abdul Rahim Hamzah(Dolmat) passed away a few days ago.I only met him once at California Jazz on 10th Dec,2006 and had really enjoyed his music.May Allah bless you,Abdul Rahim.
Thanks for informing me of the sad news and for the introduction to a true musician who lived by his music.
I just have to keep my old Nokia 6600(Malaysians called sabun) for the moment until I have enough money to get a new Nokia 78.Honestly,it is cheaper to have Nokia 6600 plus an iPod Touch than to buy Nokia 78.
