This photo was taken in Holland by my friend Guus.Do we have these containers for sale in Malaysia?I think this type of gardening is very suitable for those who love to have garden in their offices and and thier apartment with very little space taken away.Any comments?Thank you.
While my wife and me walking along The Boardwalk near KSN's house,my wife called me and pointed at the a big tall tree with multicolours of yellow and red flowers on single stalk! The view was awesome!Since I don't have the photo with me,let me share it through my simple sketch as shown here..
About a month ago,I tried to sketch a tulip field I saw when my friends Guus and Marjolein took me to visit the most colourful fields in the world. We travelled from Leiden to Kuekenhof and we stopped some where near the most beautifil tulips garden in the world.I have a field day taking photos with my hosts. Thanks Guus and Marjolein!
One of my hobbies is to take photos of flowers. Now,I began to sketch them as well. However, when I tried to sketch the field of tulips last month,I got stuck.Last night, when I was playing with an apps from AppStore(Paper53),suddenly I got around on how to put in the details of distant trees and white caravans on the horizon and showing rows of tulips.
I dedicated this flower sketch to my dear friend Guus who reads my blog everyday and who is undergoing a medical treatment and wishing him well on the road to recovery...God bless and take care.
I was at KLCC yesterday afternoon. It has been a few months since I last visited the once the tallest building in the world. There were too many people and I prefer to walk at the esplanade. To my lovely suprised I was entertained by a nice water fountain display.I hope Putrajaya will have something like these,if not better.
These are good tourism products and KLCC is riding well on them.Looking at the crowd,KLCC is bursting at the seams.Well done but I prefer the suburbs at my age now...
As I was walking this morning,I immediately stopped when I saw a beautiful tapestry of lights and shadows on the trees, the lake and the ground. It was so beautiful that I wish I could stop the time and be there savouring its beauty forever..When I returned to reality,I quickly took out my camera phone and shot this photo to share with my friends.Subhannallah, all praises belong to Allah,my Lord,Al-Khaliq-The Creator of everything.
Talking about light,it reminds me of this ayat where Allah mentions five times the word "nur":
I believe there are hundreds of gazebos spread all over the many gardens in Putrajaya.Kudos to the planners and designers but very sadly under used by the public. Here is a beautiful one where I stopped by for a rest after my morning walk. The sun rays penetrating through the leaves make it looks mystical!
My wife: How come there is no one here ,except us.
Myself:Better that way...we can have all this for ourselves;-)
My jaws dropped for a few seconds looking at these beautiful flowers from Holland.Thank you Guus for taking time and efforts to email me those lovely photos.InsyaAllah(God willing),I will try my best to visit you in Leiden next year and then we can cycle to see and take photos of these tulips at Keukenhof Garden and the flower fields nearby. It is very selfish of me to keep these beautiful photos for me only. So,I took the liberty to post only two photos here for my fellow readers to see and enjoy the tulips.Thank you Guus and your friend who took those lovely photos.
The latest addition to my wife's garden.Enjoy its beauty and have a good and safe weekend to you all...
