After having our morning breakfast with Sabri,we have a walk by the Putrajaya Wetland and took some photos. Here is one I like ..May be after Ramadhan,I will organise another Photowalk here for my group Putrajaya Photowalk.Next one is on 23/06/2013 at Floria..
This is a figment of my imagination in the form of a simple sketch of a bridge spanning over the labyrinth weirs located at Taman Seri Empangan,Presint 5,Putrajaya.Among my cycling buddies,it is known as The Forbidden Bridge.I gave it this unique name because the public is not given access to cross it.It is mainly for maintence vehicles.A few years ago,we managed to break the rules and was chased by the guard. We had a good laugh at ourselves behaving like naughty boys..
May I congratulate Mr Tan Twan Eng-a Malaysian who won this literary award. It is an event that all Malaysians should be proud of.I have not read the book yet,but I plan to buy and read it.Fictional history is a new genre for me but I look forward to discover something more interesting and may discover more on what really happened in those days.History books at schools only tell the approved version of our history.
I hope our Malaysian government will recognise this success in some way and promote and facilitate good Malaysian writers at international level.
This morning,I plan to join my PUR Group to cycle with fellow riders from Presint 16,Putrajaya.I fully support our cycling group to participate in any community ride so that we make the crowd as well as motivate others to ride bicycles as part of healthy living lifestyle.
My congratulations to Tuan Haji MK for leading his community to engage in healthy activities such as cycling.I am very happy to accept your kind invitation to cycle with your neighbours. As they say,the more the merrier..
In UK, there is a series of events call Sky Rides.I hope our Astro or TV3 take the initiative under their CSR to support and sponsor community cycling all over the country.
It has been almost 10 years since I started using typepad for my blog.Today is my 3333th blog posting. It looks like I wrote at least 90% of the time over the last decade.Lately, the number of readers had gone down by 40% because they are reading from their Facebook.
May I thak thank Allah for His rahmah on me to keep writing in the last decade.I hope whatever I wrote have benefited the readers of my blog in some way.InsyaAllah,I shall keep writing and I hope the readers keep reading and benefits from my small and humble contributions.
Let me say THANK YOU with the flowers that I sketched a few days ago..
I was very lucky yesterday on my way back home from KL.It was hot and sunny and I managed to capture these two snapshots as I travelled along MEX elevated highway.By the way,I was not driving.
The above shot were made using the built-in camera in my iPad.Nowadays, the quality of camera in mobile device is a big factor that determine who win in the market for mobile smart phones.Previously ,it was a practical convenience preferred to have. Now,it is a must feature with expected high quality.I have a compact camera and yet I do not take it with me all the time but I have my smart phone/device with me most of the time. So,the quality of built-in phones DOES matter.Samsung and Apple will fight out there...
With instangram and facebook,we can share photos easily with friends and family members.
Now,everyone can snap photos..including me.However, the quality varies according your ability and luck.
