Exploring new way to draw

I was cracking my head on how to draw a dandelion white flowers with some intricate green leaves?No way I could do it.

Learning from my experience in problem solving,I decided to ignore the green leaves and just do the white flowers on green background.So here is the photo of my sketch.I love to snap beautiful flowers with my camera,but to sketch or paint a flower is another story..

Learning from last six months of playing around with digital sketching via Paper53,I learnt that doing simple sketch of a small part of the whole big picture is better for novices like me.Let us do the small easier part and then let the beholders complete the picture in their own minds and watch them in their own way..

You are correct about the finer details. The basic foundation of Engineering, Architecture, Aerodynamic, Carvings etc are the fine, finer details. The same reason why Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, your Brompton Bike, Strida etc make you drool are those small details. You should start printing some of your sketches and frame them up your wall.
