Reading these twitter reports from people around the place where the incident occurred,it scared the hell out of me at the level of safety maintenance of our Malaysian shopping complexes.If the electricity fails,at least there should be emergency lights being immediately activated!If all these reports were true,it spoke volume of what needs to be done by the shopping complexes owners and the authorities.
Malaysian has a few big and beautiful shopping complexes.I suggest the authorities must do safety audits on their operations.
The system failed to work and the people are too busy doing other things. A good lesson for all.
