Here is one good example of using trees to provide shade and cooler environment for our towns and cities.Some local authorities had planted many good trees but many has failed to maintain them.In Bangi where I live,I have seen grasses had grown taller than me ...I live here for more than three years and have yet to see efforts to make the trees in good shape....Only lately,I noticed a lot of activites to keep the road surface maintained,grass being cut etc..I can smell the election is around the corner.
I am all for keeping our environment green and clean.We have a long way to go..
