Today is 23rd Ramadhan and we are now in the last week of this Ramadhan.I hope those who had planned their ibadah activities for this Ramadhan will review what they have done as compared to what they had planned. Most of us will have shortfall in many categories, but don't be sad. There were so many obstacles that prevented us from doing what we are supposed to be doing in this Ramadhan al-Mubarak.Unfortunately, most of those hurdles came from within ourselves.InsyaAllah,we have going to have another seven days(or eight days) to go,and let's strive to do the best we can.
Personally, my body is getting weaker and the temptations of worldly desires are getting stronger.I hope we all try to get stronger spiritually and be more engaged in the festival of ibadah than getting ourselves to be seduced by the shopping festivals. The Eidul Fitr is the climax of our celebration in our ubudiyyah to Allah with takbir and tahmid.
Let's ponder on this ayat:

Dear muslim readers,
The above is a short note I wrote about 7 years ago to remind us about the review we need to do before the last third of Ramadhan fades away...In all probabilities, most of us normal souls will have a shortfall of what we did in the last 20 days compared to what we planned to do.We have another nine days more to do do better than what we did before. So,'la tahzan'-don't be sad.As the Eid comes closer, there will be more distractions and worldly seductions to turn us away from doing more ibadah to Allah. The least we could do is keep doing all the good things we have been doing in the last 20 days.Better,if we could do a little bit more...
The 'bounty of Lailatul Qadar' is not for the weak hearted and weak body.We must stay strong all the way for the next nine days, insyaAllah.
