Alhamdulilah I am blessed with my mother still alive compared to my peers(late50's and early 60's)who had lost their mothers.A friend told me that I am lucky to have a mother who du'a for me everyday.Once our mothers pass away, that special du'a will cease..Thank you ,Allah.
My mother prefers to live in her kampung for the last seven decades. And I live more than 500km away in Selangor.Since a few years back,I made a routine to be with my mother for a few days in a month.During these few days,I will also ziarah my relatives and friends and also cemeteries where close members of my family were buried. When I was a kid,my late father always took me to the cemetery every Friday.Today,I will visit his grave, insyaAllah.
May I suggest to my fellow muslims and muslimahs to inculcate the culture of ziarah in our family.

PS:Alfatihah to my cousin who passed away last night.May Allah bless your soul, insyaAllah.
