Way back in the early Merdeka days,not every kampung had a primary school.We have to travel a few kms either by walking or cycling. Three boys and one girl from my kampung Pondok Beris walked about one mile. No bus service and we can't afford a bicyle. Kamil and Hamid had passed away -leaving Hasnah and me.
As I cycled to SK Pa' Pura yesterday from my home in Pondok Beris,it brought back a lot of my childhood memories.A lot has changed since the last five decades...At that time I used 'papan slet' and 'kalam batu' for writing!It made me laugh when I compared that to Apple iPad!Well,those were the days...
