He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book; in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are not of well-established meaning. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is not of well-established meaning. Seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its true meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.

The truth exists all the time, only falsehood needs to be created. Everyday,we are bombarded with news and views. When I am confused I seek the views of the learned men and refer to the Qur'an and Hadith. As an ordinary person,we lack the knowledge and life experience to make the right choice and decision. To choose,we need the knowledge of what is right and what is wrong. As muslims,we need to go back to Qur'an and Hadith.
During the last few weeks,my youngest son has joined me cycling at nights and in the morning at Putrajaya.Previously,I was using using my Dahon folding bikes and he was using my old Trek3700.At times,he prefers to ride my Dahon and I ride my MTB Trek 6600.
I don't need a MTB to ride on-roads at Putrajaya. In fact, folding bike is good enough. That is why I saw a sudden took-up of the folding bike riders in the city. Since both of us enjoy relaxed on-road rides, then we need two folding bikes. It costs at least RM700 but then I feel it is better to convert my old Trek 3700 to urban bike.To make it looks like Trek District Urban Bike(which cost almost RM3,000),I need to change the chain and the fork. Both are not cheap and I am not willing to spend another RM1000.If it's around a few hundreds, then it is okay.
My DIY is not qualified to be called Urban Bikes,so I will just call it SUB as mentioned above. To start with today,I got my bike serviced, changed saddle to more confortable one and replace 3 years old handle bars holders.Below is the photo:-
I bought this bike for RM1300 in 2008.The bikeshop owner offered to buy it for RM600 but I refused because I love the Trek frame and it is still in good condition.
Last weekend I spent almost one hour at a beach to snap the colourful sunset. However, the dark cloud was hiding the sun all the way down from 6:30pm until magrib time.Yesterday evening I got lucky while going back to my house from LCCT.My son was driving the car and suddenly I saw the red sun shining brightly in between the trees just over the horizon. It appeared as if it is moving along the line of trees by the roadside. What a beautiful sight to behold!Quickly,I took out my Nokia mobile phone to snap a few shots as the car cruised along the highway...
One lesson learnt from this sunset capture is that I must get my shooting gears readily available otherwise the few seconds/minutes given will be lost forever..
After taking my son to attend a course at Putrajaya,I took the opportunity to cycle around the lake of Putrajaya this morning. There were two oldies on MTB's and me another oldies but riding a foldies. Not many people walked here this morning because it is a working day.
Here is a photo of the bridge under the morning sun..I love the reflections,so I snapped this shot.I hope you like it..
I have been blogging for more than 10 years and lately I saw more people are reading Facebooks.I don't know how many Malaysians are bloggers or read blogs but I do know that we have 10 million Malaysians with Facebook accounts.IMHO,opinion leaders on Facebooks are more influential than bloggers.
The photo above was taken during my cycling using my compact camera Lumix TZ2.I really love this shot.It must be the blue colour of water!I hope to organise a photowalk some time next month.Have a good weekend.
When I replaced my car's tyres yesterday.it reminds me of my shoes.Since I started walking/jogging and cycling,I am more particular about what shoes I use for each place/activity.Please ensure you use the right shoes even though they are a bot pricy nowadays...
A few years ago when I was 50 years old and suffered some knee pains,I went to my my orthopedic surgeon who happens to be my on year junior at school. He took me to me to his room window and asked me to show which cars is more than 50 years old down there.I got his message and thank to Allah for His blessings.Cars need to change their tyres every two years and I have not changed once and now I could walk and cycle like most able men.
Below is some of my shoes being dried after being ' showered ' by heavy rains yesterday..Whatever you do,take care of the last pair of your legs/feet.Happy weekend:-)
