I was pleasantly suprised to see this big round mirror up The Rover Trail, inside FRIM,Kepong yesterday morning while my wife and me hiking up the trail. It made me very happy to see how the management is concerned about our safety. At sharp bend and steep trail like this location, we walkers may be ran over if the those cyclists coming down at high speed do not see us.Thank you very much and I now I see where my entrance fees of RM5/car went to.Well done.
Everyday we see ourselves in the mirror. If my knowledge of form 4 physics is still intact, what I see is the reflected image of myself-laterally inverted.Actually,we do not see ourselves as others see us.Anyway, due to symmetrical nature of our shape,we look more or less the same.As a noun, mirror is just an object. However, as a verb,it shows the reflected or percieved view of the object or the action.Another feature of the mirror is that it has blind spot.Sometimes, the images are distorted in shape and speed[via analogue/digital means].So,we must be very careful not to make premature judgement in many aspects of our lives when dealing with things that are reflected by 'mirrors'-literally or metaphorically speaking.
Below is the Rover Trail where we walk-for exercuse and for fun..
