Paul Hogan, of Crocodile Dunndee fame worked as Sydney bridge rigger at one time before his talent of cracking jokes was spotted by a tv producer in on of the pub there and subsequently was invited to perform on tv. Many places in Sydney have aboroginese name like Woolomoollo, somewhere near the opera house. In 1972 it cost 20 cent per car to cross the bridge. They had bin with big funnel where you just throw coin as you passed. No complicated toll booth like we have here.(study there 72-76) mshah

Cool photo, very postcard print kinda thingy!

By the way, have u read Bill Bryson's Down Under? Even if i have only been to melbourne on a few days trip, i could actually "see" Australia thru his eyes while trying to connect it with those usual national geographic or whatever documentaries including movies on australia.

I was pleasantly suprise of the quality of the photo's composition. It must be his good luck with my camera;-)

I have not read the book you mentioned but I did read the book about England and love it because I virtually imagine myself walking at many places he mentioned in his book.Thank for your comments,Manal.
