Playground:dirty and dangerous!
When was the last time you went to the playground in your neighbourhood? I just did this morning after my morning cycling. To my horrors, there is a manhole without any covers. If your kids happen to be running around, he or she will fall and surely suffers serious injuries if not dies in the hole! The grass appreared to look like not been cut for the last three months and rubbishes are over the places.
Our roads are cleaned by DBKL cleaners most of the time.I just donot know why the playground are left behind.By the way, this playground is located next to Jalan Wirawati Market.(about 5km from KLCC).
A few weeks ago, one of neighbour's wife was robbed(snatch thief) at another playground next to Esso Station near Jalan Pria, about half a kilometer from my house during her morning jog!
Now,DBKL has invited the members of the public to see and give comments on their new masterplan.I would rather go to mamak shop for teh tarik and roti canai.

Adib,
Quite common to see drain covers missing for whole stretch of the road even in Petaling Jaya Newtown. Must put a stop to this crime of stealing good metal and selling as scrap.
Easier than mining iron in the conventional way.
We don't need 'SMA' to deal with this kind of nonsense.
Note, SMA = stealing metal act.

It’s not to my surprise playgrounds in that area are not well maintained. In late 1980’s I frequent to the playground at Jalan Belangkas. I often brought my little girl to that playground, as it was just across the road to home. Even at that time it was already not well maintained, but still in usable condition.
Several years back I revisited that same playground. To my disappointment, most of it ruined. I was broken hearted to see a memorable play area for my first child during her toddler years, looks no more like a playground.
Why can’t DBKL spend a little money to keep those playgrounds in fairly good condition? After all, the community does pay a tax to them. And, the amount is not small.

Mizan,
Somebody there in DBKL is not doing his job. When people are angry and they have recourse, they translated into political votes. As you know, the result of PRU12 speaks for itself. It was nothing to do so much with politics, but it is the failure of delivery system. But the politicains got the hammers from the electorates.
