This is the book that I have been waiting for.It was written by Prof. Madya Dr Musa Bin Fathullah Harun. He comes to my surau(mosque) to deliver his Kuliah subuh on every 3rd Sunday of the month. Personally, I have been following his lectures for the last three years and I won't want to miss even once. His subject is tasawuf.Previously, he was using his other book Pengantar Tasawuf Islam and now he is using this new book to teach us.
The full title of this book is Perjalanan Rabbani-Merentasi Alam Dunia,Brazakh dan Akhirat. It gives us the understanding of the purpose of our life and guide us to live this life and to return to Allah swt.If I have time only to read one book this year, then I choose this book.
To-date, I have not seen the book in the bookshops yet, but I think it will be very soon.Personally, I will try try to get 10 or 20 copies to facilitate my friends in KL to get the book from me directly.If you live near KL,and want to buy the book,please let me know by sending email to me.

This is one ulamak that I have high regard in Malaysia besides, Dato Ishak Baharom (former mufti of Selangor), Dato Harusanni (present mufti of Perak). Dr Musa is the kind of guy who will not hesitate to say black is black, white is white. that is the reason why is not in the limelight. I believed he was the former mufti in Brunei (abedib-- pls check for me). He has his own pondok in Paya Jaras.
I used to follow his late father's daily kuliah suboh in Kampong Bharu. Especially on Sunday. Why Sunday? Sebab ada nasi lemak after kuliah suboh. a nice nasi lemak. His father's name is Kiyai Fatullah Harun. I have fond memory of this Kiyai. A great ulamak from Kampong Bharu beside Ustaz Ramli. Those born and raised in Kampong Bharu, KL, will know and remember these 2 ulamaks.

Siapa Fatullah Harun? Sama dengan yg di Indonesia (KH Fatullah Harun)? Dia pernah tinggal di Kuching Sarawak?
Pernah nampak nama dia dlm back cover surah yasin di masjid Kg Baru. Mungkin pasal nama dia unik, saya teringin nak tau siapa dia?

Saya juga tidak tahu siapa Fatullah Harun,tapi beliau berasal dari Indonesia.Mungkin orangnya sama.Dr Musa sekarang sudah berumur hampir 70 tahun.

Tapi kalau anak dia sendiri pun dah 70thn....maknanya dah lama dia tak ada.

Kiyai Fathullah Harun memang pernah menetap dan mengajar di Kuching, bahkan pernah dilantik menjadi Imam Besar Masjid Negeri dan pemangku mufti.
Beliau murid Habib Ali Kwitang dan wafat di Makkah sewaktu menunaikan haji. Allahyarhamhu.

Sekarang dia juga mengajar kuliah Maghrib sebulan sekali di Surau saya Al Ikhwan, Bandar Baru Sungai Buluh. Memang tinggi ilmu Ustaz ini.
